Turiya Yoga School

Yoga is both a personal inquiry and a journey we learn to share.

Her teaching is precise, breath-centred and alignment-oriented—physically dynamic, yet meditative and grounding. She integrates movement with contemplative awareness, creating space for students to refine their practice with both depth and care.

A way of teaching

Precision without rigidity.

01

Clear progression

Complex movement becomes approachable through intelligent preparation and steps that meet your experience.

02

Tradition in dialogue

The foundations of Ashtanga meet contemporary understanding, curiosity and the reality of each individual body.

03

Attention over achievement

Progress is measured less by performance and more by confidence, coordination and the ability to listen.

Aram’s yoga journey

From the Himalayas to a practice carried forward.

01

The beginning of inquiry

Aram’s journey began during a period of deep self-inquiry and transformation. An encounter with a Sufi mystic profoundly influenced her path. In 2011, she travelled to Nepal and first experienced yoga practice in the Himalayas.

02

Study and lineage

Through repeated journeys to India, Aram stayed in ashrams and completed intensive courses. She trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa with John Scott, while expanding her studies through Hatha Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Ayurveda and a consistent Vipassana meditation practice.

03

Community and vision

Aram co-founded Iran’s first yoga retreat centre, creating a place where practice, nature and community could meet. As a lifelong student and traveller, she values diversity and the wisdom that can be shared across cultures.
